The milk should be checked in all cases when the cow was treated because antibiotic residue could remain in the milk for some time. Such milk is not suitable for consumption and processing. With the help of milk testing by Delvotest® you will know how long the drug residue remains in the body and how long they could be detected in the milk. Check the milk, especially if:
1. Health condition of treated cow was very poor or she is suffering from dehydration.
2. The drug was used not according directions (higher doses, injections made to other places, milky cow gets preparations for dry cow), therefore the exact time of medicine residue elimination from the body is not known.
3. The drug was injected at a point where the blood circulates poorly, for example at a layer of scar formed after the previous injections.
4. The drug or mixed drug was given in combination with another medicine.
5. Dry period was short.
6. A cow was treated by antibiotics, calving started too early.
7. The cow was treated for a specific disease within dry period.
8. The cow was dried in one quarter of udder, for example when the teat was damaged.
9. There is a new cow in the herd.

This test is an innovative, one-step, rapid qualitative test for the detection of β-lactam and tetracyclines residues within a few minutes in raw cows, goats and sheep milk.
Delvotest® Fast Q and Delvotest® Fast BT – are based on rapid immunochromatographic technology to qualitatively detect antibiotic residues in raw milk. Using these tests offers reliable test readings with Delvotest® Fast Go Max reader, that provides a quantitative assessment and enabling real-time result sharing and full traceability.
Delvotest® SP NT microbial tests, detecting the broadest spectrum of antibiotic residues in every kind of milk – cow, sheep, goat,buffalo – as well as in dairy products.
It is long method - about 2,5 hours.
Delvotest® T is standard diffusion for anti-bacterial agents such as antibiotics and sulfanomides residues in milk to detect. The duration of analysis is about 3 h and 15 min.
